The 2011-12 season is in full swing after an earlier start than we are used to – but you won’t hear me complaining because it means I’m doing what I love, playing snooker.
These are exciting times for the sport, with Barry Hearn leading us into a new dawn with more tournaments, fresh innovations and a packed calendar, meaning we really will be full-time snooker professionals.
I won my second ranking title in September, the Shanghai Masters, and achieved one of my childhood goals by reaching number one in the world rankings. However, there is always room for improvement, and I will keep working hard towards my ultimate goal – the big one at the Crucible.
Thank you for all your letters and emails, please keep them coming in. I do my best to reply to as many as I can.
I hope my website keeps you updated with all my tournament and exhibition news, as well as providing a rare insight through the picture galleries and my blog, which I really enjoy doing.
