Mark Selby has vowed to get back on track in Belfast next week to make up for his disappointment at the Royal London Watches Grand Prix last month.

His disappointing performance in the Grand Prix at Aberdeen saw Selby fail to qualify for the knock-out stage after only..

A cool head with red highlights!

Fourteen days and 127 frames ago, Mark Selby declared that he was heading for the Crucible Theatre with the aim of winning the World Championship. And he almost did it.
His stunning assault on the richest, most prestigious and hardest-to-win snooker tournament in the world saw him shock a string of top players on his way to the final where, despite threatening to produce the greatest comeback ever seen, he was beaten 18-13 by a classy John Higgins.
But Selby produced enough class of his own..

Leicester City's footballers could learn a lot from Mark Selby. I don't just mean having a hairstyle that looks like an electrocuted tabby cat or actually managing to put the odd ball in the net either. It is an attitude thing.
The World Snooker Championships was enthralling stuff, one of the highlights of the sporting year. The final had bags more excitement and incident than Italy v France or Australia v Sri Lanka. It was white-knuckle stuff for couch potatoes.
For those who missed it, Selby..

I'll still keep doing it My Way, says Selby

Almost two months have passed since Mark Selby won the hearts of the nation with his heroic display in the final of snooker's World Championship, and the affable 24-year-old is still getting used to the change in lifestyle.
There are no fast cars (he does not drive), no big pile in the country (he still lives in his apartment off New Walk), and no groupies (although his fanmail has been more of a burden for the postman), but things have definitely gathered pace for the laid-back lad from New..
